| dc.description | The following presentation indicates the ideological repertoire utilized by generations of Latin American political ideologists during the first decades of the 20th century, whose objectives were to fight against the North American imperialism. Distinguished among these, is Argentinian Manuel Ugarte (1875) and Peruvian Víctor Raul Haya de la Torre (1895), whose work has corresponded through two generations, those of 1900 and 1918. Furthermore, both authors apply their ideological repertoire to the problem of Peru, Chile, and Bolivia that relates to the situation in the provinces of Tacna and Arica, which lasted until the signing of the Tratado de Lima of 1929, and Bolivia ́s landlocked status. | dc.description | La presente pesquisa indaga el repertorio ideológico utilizado por las generaciones de políticos-ideólogos latinoamericanos de las primeras décadas del siglo XX, cuya finalidad era enfrentar el imperialismo norteamericano. Al respecto, distingue los enfoques del argentino Manuel Ugarte (1875) y el peruano Víctor Raúl Haya de la Torre (1895) que se corresponden con dos generaciones, la de 1900 y la de 1918. Seguidamente, estudia cómo ambos autores aplican su repertorio ideológico a la problemática peruano-chileno-boliviana que atañe la situación de las provincias de Tacna y Arica, vigente, hasta que se firmara el Tratado de Lima de 1929, y la cuestión de la mediterraneidad boliviana.
