| dc.description | The growing intromission of exclusively economical criteria in the development of our cities has been defining an unsustainable way of making city. Stability of urban centers has been evidenced as one of the main difficulties inside this model. The city of Valdivia has not been left aside from these self-referent urban tendencies. Considering this, the Urbanism Workshop from the Architecture Department from Universidad Austral de Chile has taken the challenge of finding and studying a series of problems in the center of Valdivia and designing proposals of urban Intervention, oriented to valuating this part of the city. | en-US |
| dc.description | La intromisión cada vez más creciente de criterios exclusivamente económicos en el desarrollo de nuestras ciudades, ha ido definiendo una forma insostenible de hacer ciudad. Se evidencia que una de las mayores dificultades dentro de este modelo, es la estabilidad de los centros urbanos. La ciudad de Valdivia no ha quedado ajena a estas autoreferentes tendencias urbanísticas. En virtud de esto el Taller de Urbanismo, de la Escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad Austral de Chile, ha asumido el desafío de encontrar y estudiar una serie de problemáticas en el centro de Valdivia y diseñar propuestas de Intervención urbana, orientadas a la valorización de esta zona de la ciudad. | es-ES |
