| dc.description | Restoration of one of the oldest churches in La Serena, declared as National Monument, began with a restoration study to diagnose damages in the building, indicating the corresponding intervention criteria for its renovation. Since 1991 and supported by different funds, diverse parts of the work has been reconstructed and restored, until finishing in its present state, whose cult-cultural role rescues its value based on three specific objectives: to exhibit the regional religious heritage; to establish a regional spot for Information and archives; and finally, to give a sustainable use to the recovered religious patrimony. | en-US |
| dc.description | La restauración de una de las iglesias más antiguas de La Serena, declarada Monumento Nacional, comenzó con un estudio de restauración para diagnosticar el daño del inmueble, indicando los criterios de intervención pertinentes para su restauración. Desde 1991 y con distintos fondos, se invirtió en reconstrucción y restauración de distintas partes de la obra, hasta terminar en su actual estado, cuya función culto-cultural rescata su valor en base de tres objetivos específicos: puesta en escena del patrimonio religioso regional; establecer un punto de Información y archivo a escala regional; y por último, darle un uso sostenible al patrimonio religioso recuperado. | es-ES |
