| dc.description | The main ports in the world have torn down their walls and become open to cities. However, Valparaiso's hills and downtown strip have lost their opportunity to access and enjoy the ocean due to the block posed by its routes and the fact that the Port Industry has decided to shut down the coastal border. The concept of seascape is proposed as an analogy of landscape, i.e., making the ocean inhabitable to conceptually break the frontier between ocean and land as an obstacle, and on the contrary to create a merged front between water and land. Based on an architectonic analysis and projections, the project "Sea Avenue" is introduced, looking for "pacific waters" that do not challenge the ocean but rather take it into the land in a controlled manner. | en-US |
| dc.description | Los principales puertos del mundo han derribado sus muros y se han abierto a la ciudad. Sin embargo, los cerros y el plan de Valparaíso han perdido la posibilidad de acceder y gozar del mar debido al obstáculo que constituyen sus vías y al hecho de que la Industria Portuaria cerrara el borde costero. Se propone aquí el concepto de maritorio como análogo a territorio, esto es, hacer habitable el mar para romper conceptualmente el límite del mar con la tierra como obstáculo y, por el contrario, crear un ancho de fusión de agua y tierra. A partir de un análisis y proyecciones arquitectónicas se presenta el proyecto "Avenida del Mar", en el que se buscó el 'agua calma', no desafiando al mar, sino ingresándolo controladamente a tierra. | es-ES |
