| dc.description | Performing the critical analysis of a journal helps to better grasp its meaning and, most certainly, to set out a potential way forward. The following paper is aimed at addressing the following questions: What is the metadiscourse of AUS Journal? Which epistemological avenues have its articles walked through? Is it possible to get a glimpse of emerging approaches within the journal? The methodology used involved the analysis of the journal’s academic discourse based on a review of its articles, since its inception ten years ago to present. Four persistent key areas were identified, establishing meaningful features within the target journal that point to a specific scientific dissemination approach. | dc.description | Realizar el análisis crítico de una revista permite entender con mayor propiedad el mensaje de la misma y por supuesto sus posibles orientaciones futuras. El siguiente trabajo persigue responder las siguientes interrogantes ¿Cuál es este meta discurso de la Revista AUS?, ¿Cuáles han sido los trayectos epistemológicos recorridos dentro de sus artículos? ¿Es posible ver el surgimiento de nuevas aproximaciones dentro del cuerpo de la revista? La metodología utilizada incluyó el análisis del discurso académico de la revista a partir del examen de los artículos desde su creación, hace diez años atrás, hasta la actualidad. Se establecen cuatro áreas fundamentales que han permanecido en el tiempo dentro de la revista, estableciendo significativas cualidades dentro del cuerpo de la revista analizada, que dan cuenta de un enfoque específico de divulgación científica. Por último, a cada una de estas secciones también se incorpora una perspectiva de género. | es-ES |
