| dc.description | Valparaíso’s historical mapping reveals ideas for the city which had not been materialized yet when it was charted. Flat land availability and trace corrections register the appearance of the linear discourse, which allocates the initial topographic adaptation between land specialization, down town redistribution, and social specialization. This analysis aims at learning about the causes and effects of change, concluding whether the projects can be explained by the plans that promoted them and the basis of this performance under current development prospects in a district with urban heritage. | en-US |
| dc.description | La cartografía histórica de Valparaíso permite constatar la puesta en relieve de ideas para la ciudad que no eran aún materializadas al momento de graficarlas. Disponibilidad de suelos llanos y corrección de trazas registran el surgimiento del discurso lineal, que distribuye la adaptación topográfica inicial entre la especialización del suelo, redistribución del centro urbano y especialización social. El análisis se propone conocer las causas y efectos del cambio, concluir si los proyectos pueden ser explicados por los planes que los impulsaron y cuál es la base de este desempeño en las perspectivas actuales del desarrollo en una comuna con patrimonio urbano. | es-ES |
