| dc.description | This paper discusses the no-place concept under the simultaneous emergence of global cities and the wearing down of industrial districts. A typology of no place is proposed focused on the change of the urban structure and its integration disruption processes. Thinking about developing instruments of a new urbanism (post-globalization), the proposal is to prioritize and intervene no-places resulting from the dying industrial city, of global mobility networks thought only in global functional and corporate terms, and of mercantilization with the fragmentation of the historical hubs. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo discute el concepto de no lugar en el marco de un proceso simultáneo de emergencia de la ciudad global y deterioro de barrios industriales. Se propone una tipología de no lugares centrada en el cambio de estructura urbana y sus procesos disruptivos de la integración. Pensando en desarrollar instrumentos de un nuevo urbanismo (post globalización) se postula priorizar e intervenir no lugares resultantes de la ciudad industrial que muere, de redes de movilidad globales pensadas en términos solo funcionales y empresariales globales, y de la mercantilización con fragmentación de los centros históricos. | es-ES |
