Learning ways in students clearly differ in the way they receive and process information: visually, verbally, through facts data or theories and abstract models. Some learn actively, and others introspectively. We expect a student to move along all these ways, but; is the didactic we are currently using adequate? If it is adapted exclusively to the students, they will not develop balanced in all the scopes demanded by the professional competence. But if we do not synchronize with their learning ways, the student will be unmotivated and may even drop the career (architecture possess high desertion level). The objective of this research is to insert the teaching of Architecture Workshops in the new learning theories. To do this, the learning styles of a group of students were analyzed and later, methodologies implicit in design teaching were evaluated from the perspective of the Learning Styles Theory. Finally, a didactics based on the inclusion of theoretical subjects into the workshop was proposed.Los modos de aprender de los estudiantes difieren claramente por la forma en que reciben y procesan información, de forma visual, verbales, por hechos, datos o teorías y modelos abstractos. Unos aprenden de manera activa y otros, de forma introspectiva. Esperamos que un estudiante que se desplace en todos estos modos, pero ¿es adecuada la didáctica que aplicamos?. Si ella se adapta exclusivamente a los alumnos, éstos no se desarrollarán equilibradamente en todos los ámbitos que la competencia profesional exige. Pero si no sincronizamos con su modo de aprender, el alumno se desmotivará y quizás abandone la carrera (Arquitectura tiene alta deserción). El objetivo de esta investigación es insertar la enseñanza del Taller de Arquitectura en las nuevas teorías de aprendizaje, para lo que se analizaron los estilos de aprendizaje de un grupo de estudiantes y luego se evaluó, desde la Teoría de los Estilos de Aprendizaje, las metodologías implícitas en la enseñanza del diseño. Finalmente se propuso una didáctica basada en la inclusión de ramos teóricos al taller.
