The main objective of this study was to detect the insects associated with four tree species, two introduced and two native, and monitor them under laboratory and field conditions. The study sites were located in the province of Valdivia, Tenth Region, and Malleco province in the Eighth Region, selecting six localities where stands or plantations of the tree species were present. Thinning activities were programmed detecting the weekly arrival of insects. Six species in P. radiata were captured, another five in E. globulus, four in N. dombeyi and two in L. philippiana.El objetivo de este estudio fue detectar los insectos asociados a cuatro especies arbóreas, dos de ellas introducidas y las otras dos nativas, para lo cual se llevó a cabo un seguimiento en terreno y en laboratorio. Se seleccionaron seis localidades ubicadas en la provincia de Valdivia, Décima Región, y en la Provincia de Malleco, Octava Región, donde existían bosquetes o plantaciones de las especies en estudio. En cada una de las localidades se realizó un volteo programado a fin de detectar los agentes. En total se determinaron 6 insectos asociados a P. radiata, 5 en E. globulus, 4 en N. dombeyi y 2 en L. philippiana.
