dc.description	This paper focuses on the opening of Aristotle's Politics (I 1-2) from the perspective of an epistemology of political science. In a way which substantially differs from the doxa of aristotelian scholarship on this work, it aims to prove that the definition of the pólis as the main theoretical object of political science can only be understood properly in light of the research program outlined by Aristotle in the Posterior Analytics.	en-US
dc.description	La presente contribución enfoca la apertura de la Política de Aristóteles(I 1-2) desde una hipótesis de lectura que se inscribe en la epistemologíade la ciencia política y que pretende demostrar, a diferencia de la inmensa mayoría de los comentadores de esta obra, que los procesos que llevan hacia la definición del objeto teórico pólis se corresponden metodológicamente con el programa de investigación científica delineado por Aristóteles en los Analíticos Segundos.	es-ES
