The author considers the philosophical tradition of nominalism and empiricism regarding the moral consequences that emerge from the principal theses of the aforementioned tradition. After the study of the theory of knowledge and the anti-metaphysic ideas of William of Ockham (Middle Ages), David Hume, (Modernity) and the Vienna Circle representatives (present days), the author examines the consequences of these theories in the field of the foundations of morals. The study concludes that this tradition of thought leaves ethics without any foundations, leading to relativism and irrationalism.  El autor analiza la tradición filosófica del nominalismo y del empirismo con el propósito de considerar a qué consecuencias conducen las tesis gnoseológicas y metafísicas de esta corriente de pensamiento en el ámbito de la filosofía moral. Luego de analizar las tesis epistemológicas y ontológicas de Guillermo de Ockham (Edad Media), David Hume (Edad Moderna) y de los autores vinculados con el Círculo de Viena (Edad Contemporánea), se extraen sus consecuencias -últimas en lo referente a la fundamentación de la ética. El estudio concluye que estas corrientes privan el orden moral de todo fundamento, conduciendo ineludiblemente al relativismo ético y al irracionalismo.
