dc.description	This paper presents the status quaestionis on the human soul´s simplicity in the academic discussion at XIII century before the teaching of Thomas Aquinas. In spite of there is not a unique opinion on this subject, most of the authors assert the soul´s unicity. In this work are analyzed the article 2 of Quaestiones de anima by Hugh of Saint-Cher and an Anonymous of Ms. Lat. 3804 ofthe Bibliotheque National de París.	en-US
dc.description	El trabajo presenta el estado de la discusión acerca de la simplicidad del alma humana tal como se encontraba en los medios intelectuales de la primera mitad del siglo XIII, antes del magisterio de Tomás de Aquino. Si bien no se observa una opinión uniforme con respecto a la temática, la tendencia en la mayoría de los autores se vuelca por la aceptación de la unicidad del alma humana. Se tienen en cuenta particularmente dos trabajos poco conocidos: el artículo 2 de las Quaestiones de anima de Hugo de Saint-Cher y un texto anónimo del Manuscrito Lat. 3804 de la Bibliothèque National de París.	es-ES
