dc.description	Faced with tragic historic events, many poets have opted for formal strategies that allow to move the reader the most direct way possible, using the voice of the witness or even the victims themselves. Other authors, however, perhaps with similar intentions, have chosen detachment and suppression of emotion as their techniques. Within the contemporary trend of conceptualism or conceptual writing, there are several poets, such as Rob Fitterman y Carlos Soto Román, whose main tool is the appropriation and manipulation of records and digital archives. This kind of works provides a provocative way of thinking the relationship between poetry and politics.	en-US
dc.description	rente a los acontecimientos trágicos de la historia, muchos poetas han optado por estrategias formales que permitan conmover al lector de una manera lo más directa posible, utilizando la voz del testigo o incluso de las propias víctimas. Hay otros autores, sin embargo, que con intenciones quizás similares, han recurrido al distanciamiento y la supresión de la emotividad como su modo de trabajo. Dentro de la tendencia con- temporánea del conceptualismo o escritura conceptual, hay varios poetas, como Rob Fitterman y Carlos Soto Román, cuya principal herramienta ha sido la apropiación y manipulación de registros y archivos digitales.
