This article proposes an approach to the dramatic piece Music of bullets (Música de balas) framed in violence resentful in Mexico during the past years, from the so-called “war on drugs” launched by former President Felipe Calderón Hinojosa (2006 - 2012). In order to perform this task, it begins with a context and literary analysis in order to arrive to different systems acting and stage resolution in four different productions of the work, based on the studies of semiological Anne Ubersfeld and Patrice Pavis, and the concepts of philosophy of the theater used by the Argentine critic Jorge Dubatti. The work of contrast between some of the stagings of the text, allows to put in perspective the multiplicity of readings and different roads of scenic resolution.Este artículo propone un acercamiento a la pieza dramática Música de balas, enmarcada en la violencia resentida en México durante los últimos años, a partir de la llamada “guerra contra el narcotráfico” emprendida por el expresidente Felipe Calderón Hinojosa (2006 - 2012). Para llegar a cabo esta tarea, se comienza con un análisis contextual y literario a fin de arribar a los diferentes sistemas actorales y de resolución escénica en cuatro diferentes montajes de la obra, apoyándose en los estudios semiológicos de Anne Ubersfeld y Patrice Pavis, y de los conceptos de filosofía del teatro utilizados por el crítico argentino Jorge Dubatti.El trabajo de contraste entre algunas de las puestas en escena del texto, permite poner en perspectiva la multiplicidad de lecturas y diversos caminos de resolución escénica.
