dc.descriptionThis article is focused on one feature of the politics of good/bad taste in fin-de-siec/e Argentina: male fashion between tango dancers and musicians. Reading a complex archive of memoires, testimonies, scientific and sociological works, I argue that the rise of a male fashion industry troubles sensitive zones of the social imaginary. Cultural discourse debates about the effects of fashion consume between men of the socialmargins. Tango, prostitution and marginal urban spaces became his ambience. The article, at the same time, tries to be a miniature archive of the bad taste discourses or the time.en-US
dc.descriptionEste artículo estudia un aspecto de las políticas del buen/mal gusto en el fin-desiecle en Argentina: la moda masculina de los sectores ligados al tango. Analizando un archivo de memorias, testimonios, trabajos científicos y sociológicos sostengo que la aparición de una industria de la moda masculina perturba zonas sensibles del imaginario social y que la cultura debate ampliamente sobre los efectos del consumode moda entre los hombres de los sectores socialmente bajos ligados al tango, la prostitución, el margen. El artículo es, al mismo tiempo, un pequeño archivo de los discursos ligados al mal gusto.es-ES
