This article discusses the relationship between poetry and psychoanalysis, specifically in sorne aspects of Nicanor Parra's antipoetry. The author considers the semblance of the antipoet and sorne of its effects on the Other social reader of his work. Similarly, the text explores sorne effects of Parra's antipoetry from psychoanalysis and key concepts from Freud and Lacan. The emphasis is on the effect on the reader and itsconsequences for the desire, the interpretation and the function of the rest/remains.El artículo aborda la relación entre poesía y psicoanálisis, específicamente en algunos aspectos de la anti poesía de Nicanor Parra. El autor toma en consideración el semblante del antipoeta y algunos de sus efectos en el Otro social lector de su obra. Del mismo modo, el texto profundiza desde el psicoanálisis en algunos efectos de la antipoesía parriana desde las claves de lectura de Freud y Lacan. El énfasis está puesto en los efectos en el lector y sus consecuencias respecto del deseo, la interpretación y la función de resto/desecho.
