Regarding a corpus of chosen works published in Chile that belongs to the racist and eugenic in literature from the first half of thetwentieth century, this article elaborates on the types of relationships these works established between Chileans and the people and civilizations of Western antiquity. Through the modalities of continuity, parallelism and canonical constitution, the article analyzes in detail the way in which authors such as Nicolás Palacios, Luis Bisquertt, Sara Rojas and Hans Betzhold among others elaborated a link between their racial concerns and antiquity.En torno a un corpus escogido de obras que es posible inscribir en el ámbito del racismo y la eugenesia de la primera mitad del siglo XX chileno, el trabajo aborda el tipo de relación que en ellos se establece con pueblos y civilizaciones de la antigüedad occidental. A través de las modalidades de continuidad, paralelismo y constitución de canon se analiza en detalle la manera en que autores como Nicolás Palacios, Luis Bisquertt, Sara Rosas y Hans Betzhold, entre otros, elaboraron una relación entre sus preocupaciones raciales y la antigüedad.
