This study, part of a bigger research projection entrepreneurial development in the región of Concepción during the 19th century, analyzes the activities of a traditional landlords taking two families as case studies: the Urrejola Vicuurs, and the Urrutia Manzanos. The forefathers had formed part of the economic élite of Concepción at the end the Colonial era.
