| dc.description | Este artículo propone la relación entre el impacto y significado en Chile de la Revolución bolchevique de 1917 y la construcción y función propagandística de la Unión Soviética en el medio intelectual y político local en las décadas de los años 30 y 40 del siglo XX. Para ello, centra su argumento en la labor editorial que, en tales decenios, cumplió el inmigrante ucraniano Boris Orjikh. La exposición busca dar relevancia a factores que, según nuestra visión, incidieron tanto para explicar la popularidad de la experiencia soviética en las corrientes de opinión y de administración estatal de entonces, como la perdurabilidad de lo soviético en el imaginario de parte importante de la izquierda chilena. De manera suplementaria, el texto también informa de la aparición de una determinada práctica político-editorial y su aporte al desarrollo de la cultura comunista de la primera mitad del siglo pasado. | es-ES |

For this, it focuses on the editorial work that, in such decades, the Ukrainian immigrant Boris Orjikh fulfilled. The article highlights the factors that, according to our vision, explain both the popularity of the Soviet experience in the public opinion and within the state administration, as well as the durability of the Soviet in the imaginary of an important part of the Chilean left. In addition, the text also reports on the appearance of a certain political-editorial practice and its contribution to the development of the communist culture during the first half of the last century. | en-US |
