| dc.description | El presente artículo reflexiona sobre el universalismo y eurocentrismo en las representaciones del orden normativo internacional propuesta por el ilustrado alemán Adam Glafey (1692-1753). Objetivo del escrito es explicar cómo el derecho internacional moderno omite cosmologías distintas a la occidental en su formación, remarcando la influencia cultural del proceso de ilustración europea en este proceso. Se concluye que el derecho de gentes permitió a los intelectuales que participaban de su discurso imaginar a sus Estados y naciones en una escala racial cultural global de la humanidad y con ello repetir discursos culturales propios del siglo XVIII.Palabras clave: Derecho Natural y de Gentes, Adam Glafey, Ilustración, Globalización, Orden Internacional | es-ES |
| dc.description | The following paper reflects about the universalism and the Eurocentrism in the representations of the international normative order proposed by the German scholar Adam Glafey (1692-1753). The goal of this article is to explain how the modern law of nations omits non Western cosmologies in its building phase, stressing the cultural influence of the European Enlightenment on this process. It concludes that the international law science motivated the legal scholars to imagine their states and nations in a cultural racial scale of the humanity repeating cultural and prototypic discourses of 18th century.Keywords: Natural Law, Law of Nations, Adam Glafey, Enlightenment, Globalization, International Order. | en-US |
