El objetivo principal del desarrollo de esta investigación fue plantear el plan estratégico de TIC para el grupo de investigación de Gestión de la Tecnología y la Innovación adscrito a la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (GIGTI.UPB). El plan estratégico de TIC ayudará al grupo de investigación a gestionar las herramientas TIC producidas o utilizadas en las actividades cotidianas, administrar y recuperar el conocimiento generado dentro del él. La investigación se realizó en cuatro fases, las cuales comprenden la revisión del estado actual del grupo de investigación, la exploración del modelo de negocios de la organización, el modelo de TI (Tecnologías de la Información) y la última fase dada por el modelo de planeación; para desarrollar este proyecto se tomó como base la metodología PETI (planeación estratégica de tecnología de información), la cual permite articular las tecnologías de información con la planeación estratégica.The main objective of this research was to pose the ICT strategic plan for the research group of Technology Management and Innovation from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (GIGTI.UPB). The ICT strategic plan will help the research group to manage the produced or used ICT tools in daily activities, as well as, to manage and retrieve the knowledge generated within it. The research was conducted in four phases, which include the review of the current state of the research group, the exploring of the business model of the organization, the exploring of y the IT model and the development of the planning model. The development of this project was based on the PETI methodology (for its Spanish acronym: strategic planning of the information technology) which allows to articulate the information technologies with the strategic planning.
