| dc.description | El objetivo del artículo es presentar una visión general de la discusión científica internacional sobre posibles barreras, tecnológicas y de otros tipos, para el desarrollo de la economía circular. En términos metodológicos, para análisis bibliométrico se consultó la Base Scopus, mientras que para la producción tecnológica se utilizó el portal de búsqueda Patentscope de la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual. Como principales resultados, se infiere que los principales obstáculos en el camino de transición de la economía actual, de carácter lineal, hacia la Economía Circular, son de diferente naturaleza e interdependientes. Los desafíos / barreras para la Economía Circular incluyen la aplicación de enfoques interdisciplinarios, con diferentes tecnologías y métodos, un esfuerzo por diseñar y ofrecer productos y servicios que satisfagan los intereses de un consumidor, un actor que necesita ser consciente del problema, la necesidad de desarrollar una cultura empresarial comprometida y, finalmente, la intervención gubernamental a través de la formulación de políticas para fomentar la adopción e implementación de tecnologías apropiadas. | es-ES |
| dc.description | The aim of the article is to present an overview of the international scientific discussion on possible barriers, to the development of the circular economy. In methodological terms, for the bibliometric survey the Scopus Base was consulted, while for the technological production the search portal Patentscope of the World Intellectual Property Organization was used. The main results express that the obstacles in the transition from the current linear economy to the Circular Economy are of different nature and interdependent. The challenges / barriers for the Circular Economy include the application of interdisciplinary approaches, with different technologies and methods, an effort to design and offer products and services that satisfy the interests of a consumer, an actor who needs to be aware of the problem. The need to develop a committed business culture and, finally, government intervention through the formulation of policies to encourage the adoption and implementation of appropriate technologies. | en-US |
