| dc.description | El artículo describe algunos aspectos de los proyectos migratorios de las travestis y trans sudamericanas que residen en el Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires durante el período 2017-2019 y en relación con la caracterización de dos categorías de análisis: la discriminación asociada a la condición migratoria y a la identidad de género. El enfoque es cualitativo y emplea el método de la Teoría Fundamentada y la técnica de la entrevista en profundidad aplicando la codificación abierta, axial y selectiva. De acuerdo con los resultados presentados con base en 44 relatos se halló que la discriminación se presenta de manera articulada tanto por la condición migratoria como por la identidad de género siendo las fuerzas de seguridad, las travestis/trans nativas y los clientes, en el ejercicio de la prostitución, quienes perpetúan y legitiman la discriminación. | es-ES |
| dc.description | The article describes some aspects of the migratory projects of transvestites and trans South American women who reside in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires during the period 2017-2019 and in relation to the characterization of two categories of analysis: discrimination associated with migratory status and gender identity. The approach is qualitative and employs the Grounded Theory method and thein-depth interview technique applying open, axial and selective coding. According to the results sent based on 44 reports, it was found that discrimination is presented in an articulated manner both by migratory status and by gender identity, being the security forces, transvestites/trans natives and clients, in the exercise prostitution, who perpetuate and legitimize discrimination. | en-US |
