dc.descriptionBased on the analysis of several versions of the experiences of participation and social experimentation promoted by the InCiLab citizen innovation laboratory in Madrid, this article examines the scope and capacity for innovation of citizen laboratories as spaces for collaboration, the development of prototypes and the construction of collective intelligence. These experiences show that, through collective interchange, it is possible to create learning communities to rethink life in the city, generating meeting spaces in which citizens can present and discuss projects for the city and their neighborhoods. These initiatives also facilitate the creation of spaces where citizens and public servants can meet to rethink citizen-institution relations so that both parties can learn and develop different ways of living in the city. Finally, these laboratories respond to certain institutional dynamics that arose after the cycle of protests that followed 15-M in Spain and that, among their many expressions, reflect renewed and widespread interest in citizen involvement in public affairs.x|en-US
dc.descriptionA partir del análisis de varias ediciones celebradas de las experiencias de participación y experimentación social impulsadas desde el laboratorio de innovación ciudadana InCiLab de Madrid, este artículo profundiza en el conocimiento sobre el alcance y la capacidad de innovación que tienen los laboratorios ciudadanos como espacios de colaboración, desarrollo de prototipos y construcción de inteligencia colectiva. Estas experiencias muestran que el intercambio colectivo permite crear comunidades de aprendizaje a partir de los cuales repensar la vida en la ciudad, generando espacios de encuentro en los que la ciudadanía presenta y discute proyectos para la ciudad y sus barrios. Estas iniciativas también facilitan la creación de espacios de encuentro entre la ciudadanía y los servidores públicos en aras de repensar las relaciones ciudadanía-instituciones, de tal forma que ambas partes puedan aprender y desarrollar formas diferentes de vivir en la ciudad. Finalmente, estos laboratorios responden a ciertas dinámicas institucionales que se dieron tras el ciclo de protestas que inaugura el 15M en España y que, entre sus múltiples expresiones, manifiestan un interés renovado y generalizado por la implicación ciudadana en los asuntos públicos.es-ES
