dc.descriptionThis research studies the productive routines of VilaWeb, a native digital cybermedium which provides general information, written in catalan andcreated in 1995. The methodology used is the observation with participation of the observer, during two months in the cyber journal’s editorial office,as a part of a deeper ethnographic study. The research concludes that it is a collaborative work, where there is a constant dialogue between itsmembers. Moreover, it shows that the spontaneity, versatility and intuition define a lot of the work routines, given de fact that each news requires adifferent planification, depending on the obtained declarations, photographs or videos. The immediacy and constant updating of the information areestablished values in the editorial office, but it does not entail a lack of rigor, given the fact that the information is contrasted by many sources.en-US
dc.descriptionEsta investigación estudia el funcionamiento de la redacción de VilaWeb, un cibermedio nativo digital de información general, escrito en catalán, que nació en 1995. La metodología empleada es la observación participante, durante dos meses, en la redacción del ciberperiódico, como parte de un estudio etnográfico más amplio. Así, se ha podido comprobar in situ cómo trabaja la redacción de un medio exclusivamente digital. La investigación concluye que se trata de una redacción colaborativa, donde hay un diálogo permanente entre sus miembros. Además, muestra que la espontaneidad, la versatilidad y la intuición marcan muchas de las rutinas de trabajo, porque cada noticia requiere un planteamiento diferente, en función de las declaraciones obtenidas, las fotografías o los vídeos capturados. La inmediatez y la actualización continuada son valores establecidos en la redacción, pero no comportan una falta de rigor, ya que la información es contrastada por varias fuenteses-ES
