Abstract
The assimilation and interaction between television and the Internet has grown significantly in recent years, boosting the penetration of the connected and hybrid television, until the HbbTV (Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV) standard appeared. In this article we analyze the keys to this standard and make a quantitative study on its implications for the audience in terms of quality of contents, synergies between the Internet, television and social networks, inclusion of interactive advertising and other parameters of the new scenario. El fenómeno de asimilación e interacción entre televisión e Internet está creciendo de forma significativa en los últimos años. Eso se está traduciendo en un impulso en la penetración de la televisión conectada e híbrida, hasta el punto de la irrupción en escena el estándar HbbTV (Hybrid Broadcast and Broadband TV). En este artículo analizamos las claves de este estándar y realizamos un estudio cuantitativo sobre sus implicaciones en la audiencia, en términos de calidad de contenidos, sinergias Internet-televisión-redes sociales, inclusión de publicidad interactiva y otros parámetros del nuevo escenario.
