dc.description	This essay is a reflection on the aesthetic of forced disappearance based on the case in Mexico in October 2014 in which 43 young students from Ayotzinapa, in the state of Guerrero, disappeared. We analyse the photographic support of this shocking event and relate it to the function of the image in other cases of serious crimes against humanity, establishing a genealogy of the aesthetic of disappearance. We present fifteen declarations on the aesthetic of disappearance which enable us to debate on old and new forms of organised violence, particularly in the Latin American context.	en-US
dc.description	Este ensayo constituye una reflexión sobre la estética de la desaparición forzada a partir del caso mexicano relativo a la desaparición de 43 jóvenes normalistas de Ayotzinapa, hechos acaecidos en octubre de 2014, en el estado de Guerrero (México). Se analiza el soporte fotográfico de estos crudos acontecimientos y se pone en relación con la función de la imagen en otros casos de grandes crímenes contra la humanidad estableciendo una genealogía de la estética de la desaparición. Se exponen quince afirmaciones sobre la estética de la desaparición que permiten debatir sobre nuevas y viejas formas de violencia organizada, particularmente en el escenario latinoamericano.	es-ES
