In the context of the sociology studies of innovation, the paper synthesizes the results of a research whose objective was to describe and analyze the trajectory of the project "HPV Easy Typing, a cancer identification and genotyping kit". For this, the conceptual section of the Actor-Network Theory and its focus on interests were used, which have turned out to be more relevant to approach innovation from this perspective. In addition, lessons learned and challenges in technological management in the Chilean context are extracted.En el marco de los estudios de sociología de la innovación, el artículo sintetiza los resultados de una investigación cuyo objetivo fue describir y analizar la trayectoria que ha tenido el proyecto “HPV Easy Typing, un kit de identificación y genotipificación del cáncer” utilizando el apartado conceptual de la Teoría del Actor-Red y su enfoque sobre interesamientos, que han resultado ser más pertinentes para abordar la innovación desde este enfoque. Con ello, además se extraen aprendizajes y desafíos en materia de gestión tecnológica en el contexto chileno.
