| dc.description | At present, the figure of the informal caregiver is essential due to the notable aging of the population and, consequently, to the increase in the rate of dependent persons. Informal caregiver is the person who performs dependent care care. This research aims to analyze the perceived quality of life in addition to the need for training of informal caregivers of dependent people. Among the objectives lies in training the caregiver in knowledge, skills and attitudes, knowing the main characteristics of the caregiver of dependent people and improving their quality of life. The method used consists of three differentiated parts: a bibliographic search of scientific articles, an intervention for caregivers based on practical theoretical training on care assessed by means of surveys and, finally, an exhaustive statistical analysis. As results we objectify that the caregiver is a woman, daughter and without knowledge or experience in serious diseases. At the same time there is a statistically significant relationship between age and activity. Finally, the conclusion and discussion of this study demonstrates the effectiveness of the intervention of the nursing professional with the caregivers and objective that the profile of the caregiver is similar to other previous studies. | en-US |
| dc.description | En la actualidad, la figura del cuidador informal resulta imprescindible debido al notable envejecimiento de la población y por consiguiente, al aumento en la tasa de personas dependientes. Cuidador informal es la persona que realiza la atención de cuidados de personas dependientes. Esta investigación pretende analizar la calidad de vida percibida además de la necesidad de formación de los cuidadores informales de personas dependientes. Entre los objetivos reside el formar al cuidador en conocimientos, habilidades y actitudes, conocer las características principales del cuidador de personas dependientes y mejorar su calidad de vida. El método utilizado consta de tres partes diferenciadas: una búsqueda bibliográfica de artículos científicos, una intervención para cuidadores basada en formación teórico práctica sobre cuidados valorada mediante encuestas y, por último, un exhaustivo análisis estadístico. Como resultados objetivamos que la cuidadora es mujer, hija y sin conocimiento ni experiencia en enfermedades graves. Al mismo tiempo se da una relación estadísticamente significativa entre la edad y la actividad. Finalmente, la conclusión y discusión de este estudio demuestra la efectividad de la intervención del profesional de enfermería con los cuidadores y objetiva que el perfil del cuidador es similar a otros estudios previos. | es-ES |
