The year of innovation is over and also a government which defined incentive actions and policies, which results and impact will be able to be evaluated later this year. However, we can describe the present context of innovation in Chile as from some related reports, figures, and indicators that allow us to foresee the scenario in which we are: what have been done well, what has to be done, and in a near future, contrast it with the initiatives pro innovation from the outgoing administration.Pasó el año de la innovación y también un gobierno que definió acciones y políticas de incentivo, de las cuales solo podremos evaluar sus resultados e impacto, avanzado el presente año. Sin embargo, podemos describir el contexto actual de la innovación en Chile a partir de algunos reportes, informes, cifras e indicadores relacionados que nos permite vislumbrar el escenario en el que nos encontramos: lo que se ha hecho bien, lo que falta por hacer y en un futuro cercano, contrastarlo con las iniciativas pro innovación del gobierno saliente.
