dc.descriptionThe main objective of the project hands of fire. Juan Egenau Moore, carried out during 2018 and mid 2019, was to value the work of the artist through research and dissemination. For this purpose, research was done on his work and trajectory, together with an online catalog of his sculptures to be disseminated by cultural institutions and reach a greater audience. Subsequently, a didactic book exposing the research was designed with the purpose of communicating the information obtained. It also included high resolution images, in order to illustrate the content for the users in an attractive way. In addition to the intention of contributing to generate a link between heritage and the community, the book published on the web of Chilean visual artists that belongs to the library of the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (MNBA) (http:// www.artistasvisualeschilenos.cl), contains a travel route of the works located in public spaces, connecting them with cultural /recreational activities. On the other hand, with the purpose of raising awareness and educate the various recipients on the subject, a talk about the work and career of the artist was held in the mnba, where a factsheet of his work was handed to the owners/interested managers. Finally, and with the same purpose, the information about Juan Egenau Moore, was updated in the web of Chilean visual artists, and the present article was published. By valuing the work of Juan Egenau Moore, it is possible to understand the significant and indissoluble bond that exists between research and dissemination when working with the revaluation of cultural heritage. In this context, both terms could be simplified as content and visuality that, according to the nature of the project presented, can be covered by the disciplines of art history and graphic design, respectively. en-US
dc.descriptionEl proyecto manos de fuego. Juan Egenau Moore, realizado durante 2018 y mediados de 2019, tuvo como principal objetivo poner en valor la obra del artista mediante su investigación y difusión. Con este propósito, se realizó una investigación sobre su obra y trayectoria, además del registro y catalogación de sus obras. De este trabajo nació un catálogo online de sus esculturas para ser difundido por instituciones culturales, para abarcar a mayor cantidad de personas. Posteriormente, con la finalidad de difundir la información obtenida, se efectuó un libro en el que se expuso de manera didáctica la investigación, acompañada por imágenes en alta resolución, con el fin de ilustrar de manera entretenida y atractiva a los usuarios. Además con la intención de contribuir al vínculo entre patrimonio y comunidades, el libro, que será publicado en la web de artistas visuales chilenos perteneciente al Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (MNBA) (http://www.artistasvisualeschilenos.cl), contiene una ruta de recorrido de las obras que se encuentran en espacios públicos, enlazándolas con actividades culturales/ recreacionales. Por otro lado, con el propósito de crear conciencia sobre el tema, se realizó en el MNBA una charla sobre la obra y trayectoria del artista en la que se otorgó a los propietarios/responsables interesados una ficha informativa sobre sus obras. Con el mismo fin, se actualizará la información sobre Juan Egenau Moore en la web de artistas visuales chilenos, y se realizó el presente artículo. Al poner en valor la obra de Juan Egenau Moore, es posible advertir el significativo e indisoluble vínculo que existe entre las labores de investigación y difusión al momento de trabajar con el patrimonio cultural en pro de su revalorización. En este contexto, ambos términos podrían simplificarse como contenido y visualidad que, de acuerdo al carácter del proyecto presentado, pueden ser abarcados por las disciplinas de la historia del arte y el diseño gráfico, respectivamente. es-ES
