| dc.description | Tipo Móvil is a design studio and typography workshop–founded by graphic designer Andrea Torres–, dedicated to the rescue and reinvention of the craft of typographic printing (letterpress), since 2014. Their work consists in rescuing movable types of lead and material that printers discard and use them to transform what was once an industry into art. Today, thanks to the diversity of technologies, prints can be produced using movable type of lead, linotype, wood types, photo-etched matrices created with a vector design or letters of MDF using a laser cutting machine, which allows you to obtain a wide range of results, enrichs the work and increases the versatility and the scope of the design. | en-US |
| dc.description | Tipo Móvil es un estudio de diseño y taller tipográfico –fundado por la diseñadora gráfica Andrea Torres–, dedicado al rescate y reinvención del oficio de la impresión tipográfica (letterpress), desde el año 2014. Su trabajo consiste en rescatar tipos móviles de plomo y material que las imprentas desechan y, con ellos, transformar lo que alguna vez fue industria, en arte. Hoy, gracias a la diversidad de tecnologías, se puede imprimir a partir de tipos móviles de plomo, linotipia, tipos de madera, matrices fotograbadas a partir de un diseño vectorial o letras de MDF cortadas en láser, lo que permite obtener una gran variedad de resultados, que enriquecen el trabajo y aumentan la versatilidad y el alcance del diseño. | es-ES |
