| dc.description | This article makes a summary of the relationship between common good and christianism, from the perspective of Christian Public Law, in general, and from the doctrine of Thomas Aquinas, in particular. From this perspective, the ultimate end of human being includes not only a natural dimension, but also another supernatural, to which the first subordinates. Such supernatural end, as it constitutes the true ultimate end of human life, cannot be excluded of the proper order of society, for society must be oriented towards real happiness of men. | dc.description | En el presente artículo se realiza una síntesis de las relaciones entre el bien común y el cristianismo desde la perspectiva del Derecho Público cristiano en general, y del pensamiento de Santo Tomás de Aquino, en particular. Desde esta perspectiva, el fin último del hombre posee no sólo una dimensión natural sino, también, otra sobrenatural, a la cual la primera se subordina. Dicho fin sobrenatural, al constituirse como verdadero fin último de la vida humana, no puede quedar excluido del orden propio de la sociedad, por cuanto la sociedad debe orientarse a que los hombres sean plenamente felices. Dicho de otro modo: no es lícito a la sociedad política, después de la Redención, excluir el cristianismo del orden social. [...]. | es-ES |
