dc.description	The authors address the legal nature of the administrative authorities in Chile to regulate aviation activity. On the one hand the Civil Aeronautical Board whose mission is geared to senior management of commercial aviation in the country, and on the other, the Directorate General of Ci vil Aviation, whose responsibilities are focused on the protection of air safety in aviation civil as a whole and the management and administration of public aerodromes and support services for air navigation. Also, there is an analysis of the special characteristics of the legal figure of the Commander of the Aircraft.	en-US
dc.description	Los autores abordan la naturaleza jurídica de los entes administrativos que en Chile regulan la actividad aeronáutica. Por una parte, la Junta de Aeronáutica Civil cuya misión está orientada a la dirección superior de la aviación comercial en el país, y por la otra, la Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil, cuyos cometidos se enfocan en la protección de la seguridad aérea de la aviación civil en su conjunto y la dirección y administración de los aeródromos públicos y de los servicios de ayuda a la navegación aérea. Asimismo, se analiza la figura jurídica del comandante de aeronave y sus peculiaridades.	es-ES
