dc.descriptionUna Constitución no es un hecho que por sí mismo acredite o garantice el orden democrático. En ese sentido, hay constituciones que no obstante contemplar un detallado código de conductas o un completo programa de acción político, no reúnen las condiciones necesarias y suficientes que permitan la subsistencia de una comunidad política de individuos libres e iguales.En esta investigación, analizamos el valor de la Constitución en el contexto de las instituciones que conforman el orden democrático descrito por Alexis de Tocqueville.es-ES
dc.descriptionThe existence of a constitution is not in itself a fact that proves democratic order. In this sense, there are constitutions which, despite contemplating a detailed code of conduct or a complete programme of political action, do not meet the necessary and sufficient conditions to allow the subsistence of a political community of free and equal individuals. This paper analyses the value of the Constitution in the context of the institutions that make up the democratic order described by Alexis de Tocqueville.en-US
