| dc.description | La Memoria como sus políticas públicas constituyen un campo de estudio con variadas investigaciones. El caso chileno ha sido estudiado en referencia a las políticas oficiales de verdad y justicia y a la temprana Comisión de la Verdad tras el retorno de la democracia. Sin embargo, la memoria y la verdad son conceptos complejos que no se reducen a dichas políticas, y que se ven afectados por las reivindicaciones que en ocasiones confrontan lo establecido por las vías oficiales.En este trabajo analizamos este problema, siguiendo las orientaciones de los estudios sobre batallas de la memoria como espacio subjetivo en disputa e intentando ir más allá del análisis de la justicia transicional y de las políticas oficiales de memoria, con el fin de comprender el espacio de la “reconciliación” en la búsqueda por superar su pasado.Para esto, estudiamos desde una perspectiva histórica los discursos presentes en dos testimonios perturbadores -siguiendo la conceptualización de Payne- de colaboradores civiles de la dictadura pinochetista que sirven para mostrar las tensiones existentes en el campo de la memoria. Hemos podido evidenciar que los principios de la coexistencia contenciosa son una herramienta útil para una mejor convivencia, incluso tras periodos de larga tensión pública fruto de la confrontación en el espacio público de las diversas narrativas. Hasta ahora las investigaciones sobre memoria en el caso chileno han estudiado preferentemente la situación de las víctimas, y en solo un caso el de los militares victimarios, aquí abordamos el testimonio de civiles colaboradores de la dictadura.Palabras clave: Memoria, Reconciliación, Testimonios, Historia Reciente, Dictadura | es-ES |
| dc.description | Memory and its public policies constitute a field of study with varied research. The Chilean case has been studied in reference to official truth and justice policies and the early Truth Commission after the return of democracy. However, memory and truth are complex concepts that are not reduced to such policies, and are affected by claims that sometimes confront what has been established by official channels.In this paper we analyze this problem, following the guidelines of studies on memory battles as a subjective space in dispute and trying to go beyond the analysis of transitional justice and official memory policies, in order to understand the space of “reconciliation” in the search to overcome its past.For this purpose, we studied from a historical perspective the discourses present in two disturbing testimonies -following Payne’s conceptualization- of civilian collaborators of the Pinochet dictatorship that serve to show the existing tensions in the field of memory. We have been able to show that the principles of contentious coexistence are a useful tool for a better coexistence, even after periods of long public tension resulting from the confrontation in the public space of different narratives. Until now, research on memory in the Chilean case has mainly studied the situation of the victims, and in only one case that of the military perpetrators; here we address the testimony of civilian collaborators of the dictatorship.Keywords: Memory, Reconciliation, Testimonies, Recent History, Dictatorship | en-US |
