| dc.description | This article studies the antisubversive approach for repression and extermination in the Argentine Navy during the 1973-1976 period. In the line of cultural studies of war, first I analyze the characterization of the internal threat made by military sailors based on the concept of “subversion”. Second, I explore the Navy’s measures and courses of action for internal warfare. In both cases, I investigate the links between the doctrine of the Navy with which the Army had been developing in parallel, as well as the connections with the two most influential schools of anti-subversive warfare on the local scene: the French and the United States ones. Through the analysis of norms, regulations, legislation and testimonies of the perpetrators and the victims I reconstruct the doctrinal and operational bases on which the repressive intervention and extermination of the weapon of the sea was mounted between 1973 and 1976. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo estudia el enfoque antisubversivo para la represión y el exterminio en la Armada argentina durante el período 1973-1976. En la línea de los estudios culturales de la guerra, en primer lugar, analizo la caracterización de la amenaza interna realizada por los marinos basada en el concepto de “subversión”. En segundo lugar, exploro las medidas y los cursos de acción de la Marina para la guerra interna. En ambos casos, indago en los vínculos entre la doctrina de la Armada con la que paralelamente venía desarrollando el Ejército, así como las conexiones con las dos escuelas de guerra antisubversiva más influyentes en el panorama local: la francesa y la estadounidense. A través del análisis de normativas, reglamentos, legislación y testimonios de los perpetradores y las víctimas reconstruyo las bases doctrinarias y operativas sobre las que se montó la intervención represiva y de exterminio del arma del mar entre 1973 y 1976. | es-ES |
