dc.descriptionThis article aims to analyze the design of a Roman imperial geography in the second century through the use of the concepts of globalization and glocalization. For this, both concepts will be instrumentally defined in modern and historiographic terms, studying their eventual presence in the creation of a new geographical narrative of the Roman Empire through written sources and the political praxis of the emperor Hadrian. It will be argued that these issues created a new form of geographical vision of the orbis terrarium, designing a global geography of the Roman Empire and installing diferentes views of local scale.en-US
dc.descriptionEste artículo tiene como objetivo caracterizar el diseño de una geografía imperial romana en el siglo II por medio de la utilización de los conceptos de globalización y glocalización. Para ello se definirán instrumentalmente ambos conceptos en términos modernos e historiográficos, estudiándose su eventual presencia en la creación de una nueva narrativa geográfica del Imperio Romano por medio de fuentes escritas y algunas acciones políticas del emperador Adriano a modo de ejemplificación.  Se sostendrá que estas cuestiones crearon una nueva forma de visión geográfica del orbis terrarum, diseñando una geografía global del Imperio Romano que se instaló a diferentes escalas.es-ES
