| dc.description | In Colombia, Andean blackberry (Rubus glaucus Benth.) is considered as one of the fruit crops with the greatest agricultural potential. However, it does not have quality assurance schemes for the propagation and production of planting material. To solve this problem, tools such as in vitro propagation have been used. However, the effect of some factors such as culture medium is still unknown. Therefore, the objective of this study was to evaluate different culture media for the in vitro establishment, multiplication, and rooting of blackberry in order to develop a protocol for the production of planting material (genetic and sanitary quality). For this, eight of the main basal culture media supplemented with two concentrations of growth regulators were evaluated. The experiment was established in a completely randomized design with 16 treatments and three replicates of 10 experimental units per stage. For the establishment, the best culture medium was Murashige and Skoog (MS) in combination with 2 mg L-1 of gibberellic acid. For multiplication, the best results were observed in the MS medium supplemented with 0.75 mg L-1 of benzylaminopurine, while the MS medium in combination with 1 mg L-1 of indole butyric acid recorded the highest values for rooting. | en-US |
| dc.description | La mora de Castilla (Rubus glaucus Benth.) es considerada en Colombia como uno de los frutales con mayor potencial agrícola. Sin embargo, no cuenta con esquemas de aseguramiento de la calidad para la propagación de material de siembra. Para dar solución a esta problemática se ha recurrido al uso de herramientas como la propagación in vitro. Sin embargo, aún se desconoce la acción que ejercen algunos factores como el medio de cultivo. Por lo anterior, el objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar diferentes medios de cultivo para el establecimiento, multiplicación y enraizamiento in vitro de mora de Castilla, con la finalidad de obtener un protocolo para la producción de material de propagación con características de calidad genética y sanitaria. Para ello, se evaluaron ocho de los principales medios de cultivo basales suplementados con dos concentraciones de reguladores de crecimiento para un total de 16 tratamientos, cada uno con tres repeticiones de 10 unidades experimentales por etapa, los cuales fueron dispuestos en un diseño completamente al azar. Para el establecimiento, el mejor medio de cultivo fue el Murashige y Skoog (MS) en combinación con 2 mg L-1 de ácido giberélico. Para la multiplicación los mejores resultados se observaron en el medio MS suplementado con 0,75 mg L-1 de bencilaminopurina, mientras que para el enraizamiento los valores más altos se presentaron en el medio MS en combinación con 1 mg L-1 de ácido indol butírico. | es-ES |
