dc.descriptionIn 2020, the Marta Scheu Torres Award was granted to two outstanding professionals: Tania Gebauer and Ángela Ibáñez. Both have served in different areas of the discipline providing a unique and significant gaze. Ángela Ibáñez, Bachelor of Arts and Humanities and MA in Landscape Architecture, is the co-founder and executive director of Patio Vivo, a non-profit foundation that implements learning landscapes in the playgrounds of kindergartens, schools, and high schools. Ángela has been recognized within the 100 Women Leaders 2020 of El Mercurio and Mujeres Empresarias, and is a member of the Executive Council of the International School Grounds Alliance (ISGA). She has participated in several seminars on free play and learning. Tania Gebauer is an Architect, Bachelor of Science from the University of Chile, Master in Certification of Sustainable Design and Bioclimatic Architecture from the University of Barcelona and has a Certificate in Art, Digital Architecture, and Real Estate Appraisal from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She has developed her work together with Ortuzar and Gebauer Arquitectos on issues of sustainability, restoration, and heritage conservation on the Isla Grande de Chiloé. In her professional career, she has received multiple recognitions from her peers, including the 2018 College of Architects award for Regional Architecture together with her partner and spouse, Eugenio Ortúzar, and she participated in the 2014 Venice Architecture Biennale.en-US
dc.descriptionEl año 2020, se otorgó la distinción Marta Scheu Torres a dos profesionales destacadas: Tania Gebauer y Ángela Ibáñez. Ambas se han desempeñado en distintas áreas de la disciplina aportando miradas distintivas y significativas. Ángela Ibáñez, Licenciada en Artes y Humanidades y MA en Arquitectura del Paisaje, es cofundadora y directora ejecutiva de Patio Vivo, fundación sin fines de lucro que implementa paisajes de aprendizaje en patios de jardines infantiles, escuelas, colegios y liceos. Ángela ha sido reconocida dentro de las 100 Mujeres líderes 2020 de El Mercurio y Mujeres Empresarias y es miembro del Consejo Ejecutivo de International School Grounds Alliance (ISGA). Ha participado en diversos seminarios sobre el juego libre y el aprendizaje. Tania Gebauer es Arquitecta, Bachiller en Ciencias de la Universidad de Chile, Magister en Certificación de Diseño Sostenible y Arquitectura Bioclimática de la Universidad de Barcelona y Diplomada en Arte, Arquitectura Digital y Tasación Inmobiliaria de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Ha desarrollado su trabajo junto a Ortúzar y Gebauer Arquitectos en temáticas de sustentabilidad, restauración y conservación patrimonial en la Isla Grande de Chiloé. En su carrera profesional ha recibido múltiples reconocimientos de sus pares, entre ellos el premio del Colegio de Arquitectos 2018 a la Arquitectura Regional junto a su socio y pareja, Eugenio Ortúzar, y participó en la Bienal de Arquitectura de Venecia 2014.es-ES
