| dc.description | En este artículo describimos y clasificamos las funciones de se y sibi en latín en un corpus muestral de autores pertenecientes al período preclásico y clásico de la lengua latina. Se busca demostrar que el valor reflexivo no es el más extendido ni, necesariamente, original con respecto a los otros valores, sino que, por el contrario, se fortalece en la diacronía de la lengua. Proponemos que, a partir de estructuras de anafórico de larga distancia, el uso de se y sibi en latín se expande hacia otras funciones. Tomando como marco enfoques teóricos esencialmente cognitivistas y funcionales, explicamos el desarrollo diacrónico de tales funciones desde el latín preclásico hacia el clásico. | es-ES |
| dc.description | In this paper, we describe and classify the functions of se and sibi in Latin, according to a corpus made of Archaic and Classical Latin authors. We aim to demonstrate that the reflexive value is not the more widespread nor the original one. Instead, the reflexive value strengthens within time. We claim that the use of se and sibi unfolds from their function as long-distance anaphoric toward other functions. From essentially cognitive and functional frameworks, we explain the diachronic development of such functions from the Archaic toward the Classical period. | en-US |
