| dc.description | In this work we will investigate the characteristics that define a historical event. To do this we will distinguish the two aspects that can be identified in consideration of its historical condition: the way in which the social community recognizes and signifies a specific event as such, and the way in which historical science takes it for its object. We will first make a general approach to the very idea of the event, then we will ask ourselves the question of how events are endowed with meaning and transmitted from generation to generation. Finally, we will return to the problem of defining an event, for which we will consider the linguistic dimension that informs that historical object. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este trabajo indagaremos en las características que definen a un acontecimiento histórico. Para ello vamos a distinguir los dos aspectos que pueden ser identificados en la consideración de su condición histórica: el modo en que una comunidad social reconoce y significa un suceso determinado como acontecimiento, y la forma en que la ciencia histórica lo toma por objeto. Haremos primero una aproximación general a la idea misma de acontecimiento, luego nos plantearemos la cuestión de cómo los acontecimientos son dotados de significación y transmitidos de generación en generación. Finalmente, retomaremos el problema de la definición de un acontecimiento, para lo cual atenderemos a la dimensión lingüística que informa a ese objeto histórico. | es-ES |
