| dc.description | Este artículo analiza las actuales asociaciones empresariales chinas en Chile, considerando sus formas de composición, institucionalización de jerarquías y legitimación de sus prácticas, por una parte ante el estado chino y por otra, ante el estado y la sociedad chilena. Las entrevistas y trabajo etnográfico con 19 asociaciones empresariales chinas en Chile permiten plantear que 1) articulan relaciones territoriales específicas con sus espacios de origen, 2) su membresía y liderazgos se construyen a partir de la generación de deudas monetarias y simbólicas entre actores individuales e institucionales, 3) tienden a consolidar mecanismos de mediación entre los intereses de sus miembros, las políticas estatales en origen y su acomodo en las estructuras sociales y políticas en Chile. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This article analyzes the Chinese business associations in Chile in terms of their forms of composition, operation, institutionalization of hierarchies and legitimacy, on the one hand, in front of the Chinese state and, on the other, in front of the Chilean state and society. The interviews and ethnographic work with 19 Chinese business associations in Chile allow us to propose that 1) they articulate specific territorial relations with their spaces of origin, 2) their membership and leadership are built from the generation of monetary and symbolic debts between individual and institutional actors, 3) tend to consolidate mediation mechanisms between the interests of their members, state policies in origin and their accommodation in the social and political structures in Chile. | en-US |
