dc.descriptionThe Letter on the art of translating has generally been regarded as a classic of translation theory. In this document Luther would have exposed in a new and original way a method for interpreting biblical texts and analyzing the work of the translator. This contribution studies the reformer's contribution to biblical translation and concludes that this is not only not original, but an excuse to reaffirm the doctrine of evangelical justification within the framework of the Augsburg Confession, read before the Emperor in 1530.en-US
dc.descriptionLa Carta sobre el arte de traducir ha sido considerada generalmente como un clásico de la teoría de la traducción, en la que Lutero habría expuesto, de manera original y novedosa, un método para interpretar los textos bíblicos y analizar el desempeño del traductor. Esta aportación estudia la contribución del reformador a la traductología bíblica y concluye que ésta no sólo no es original, sino una excusa para reafirmar la doctrina de la justificación evangélica en el marco de la Confesión de Augsburgo, leída ante el Emperador en 1530es-ES
