| dc.description | This text analyses the abusive relationship between the human being and the animal alterity from the theoretical background of Adorno and Horkheimer’s critique of instrumental reason, thus arguing that this logic applied to the animals is sustained by a preeminent fear of animality from the contemporary human being. This perspective is complemented with the realization that instrumental phobic domination eventually reverts to human beings through a universal instrumentalization of their bodies enacted in capitalist production. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este escrito se analiza la problemática de la relación abusiva del ser humano con la alteridad animal desde el marco teórico de la crítica de Adorno y Horkheimer a la razón instrumental, sosteniendo que esta lógica aplicada a los animales se nutre de un preeminente miedo a la animalidad por parte del ser humano contemporáneo. Esta perspectiva se complementa con la constatación de que la dominación instrumental fóbica revierte eventualmente en el hombre, consagrándose una universal instrumentalización de los cuerpos en la producción capitalista. | es-ES |
