This essay seeks to answer, demonstrate and give an account of the feminine within the context of the questions, allegations and legitimations that inclusive language has brought. Answer one something basic, but fundamental: what is the grammatical genre in our language. For this we have prepared a brief, but concise state of affairs. Demonstrate how the female voice is silenced in the discourse, whether in grammatical spaces or in lexical spaces and how it works with it, accepting it, eroding it or questioning it. Finally, give an account of how this grammatical flexion and this silencing are specified in a dictionary. We have chosen the dictionary because it is a product of codification that is in contact with the linguistic community and reflects, to a large extent, this community: what you want to see, what you see and what you don't see.Este ensayo busca responderse, demostrar y dar cuenta de lo femenino dentro del contexto de los cuestionamientos, alegatos y legitimaciones que el lenguaje inclusivo ha traí­do consigo. Responderse uno algo básico, pero fundamental: de qué va el género gramatical en nuestra lengua. Para ello hemos preparado un breve, pero conciso estado de la cuestión. Demostrar cómo se silencia la voz femenina en el discurso, sea en los espacios gramaticales o en los espacios léxicos y cómo se trabaja con ello, aceptándolo, erosionándolo o cuestionándolo. Dar cuenta, por último, de cómo se concreta esta flexión gramatical y este silenciamiento en un diccionario. Hemos elegido el diccionario porque es un producto de la codificación que está en contacto con la comunidad lingüística y refleja, en gran medida, a esta comunidad: lo que se quiere ver, lo que se ve y lo que no se ve.
