This article aims to analyze the aesthetic and political variants that converge the proletarian woman sign in the narrative of the Chilean writer Nicomedes Guzmán (1914-1964). The reading proposal developed here positions the proletarian female characters of Guzmán as new revolutionary agents who, through the body and motherhood, manage to stress or flee the political, social and cultural hierarchies traditionally conceived around women.
