dc.descriptionThere are several tools for projecting a short, medium, and long-term territory and the intervention scales change depending on the objectives. A series of studies and urban documents show a lax use of basic concepts of the discipline are used with different senses, generating difficulties for its advancement and for its daily practice. These complexities, common to different territories, are evident in Argentina in recent decades with the development of a lot of plans with different territorial scopes. In this sense, the objective of this work is to do the first approach to the basic concepts used as tools for planning the territory, in order to contribute to the conceptual clarification of the urban sciences. It is established some of the most used concepts to plan a territory in this century -Urbanism, Planning, Project, Territorial Planning, Urban Planning Code, Strategic Planning- and what is understood by each of them. To do this, it sought writings “from here”, Latin America, published in the last few years, in scientific journals, notes of chairs of different universities and definitions in ordinances and laws.en-US
dc.descriptionLas herramientas para proyectar el territorio a corto, mediano, y largo plazo son varias y los modos y las escalas de intervención cambian dependiendo de los objetivos. Una serie de estudios y documentos urbanísticos ponen de manifiesto cómo hay un uso laxo y relativo de conceptos básicos de la disciplina, generando dificultades tanto para su desarrollo como para su práctica cotidiana. Estas complicaciones comunes a diferentes territorios se ponen de manifiesto en Argentina en las últimas décadas con el desarrollo de numerosos planes con diferentes alcances territoriales. En este sentido, el objetivo de este trabajo es proporcionar un instrumento de consulta útil para personas interesadas en la materia, así como contribuir a la clarificación conceptual de las ciencias urbanas. En el texto se dejan asentados algunos de los conceptos más utilizados en este siglo para planificar un territorio -Urbanismo, Planificación, Proyecto Urbano, Ordenamiento Territorial, Código de Planeamiento Urbano, Planificación Estratégica-, y que se entiende por cada uno de ellos. Para ello, se buscó escritos de los últimos años hechos “desde aquí”, Latinoamérica, publicados en revistas científicas, apuntes de cátedras de distintas universidades y definiciones detalladas en ordenanzas y leyes.es-ES
