| dc.description | Political geography constitutes an important, but at the same time evolving, sector of geography. From the beginnings of modern geography, in the first half of the 19th century, which showed a discipline closely related to other sciences, the area of political geography also benefited mainly from sociology and psychology. This enrichment manifested itself in continuous conceptual and methodological changes. The aim of the present study is to examine the essence that characterizes this discipline and the main themes of political geography. The first part of the article deals with the scope and definition of political geography. The second part deals with the main themes that compose it. | en-US |
| dc.description | La Geografía política constituye un sector importante, pero a la vez evolutivo en la Geografía. Desde los comienzos de la geografía moderna, en la primera mitad del siglo XIX, que mostraba una disciplina íntimamente relacionada con otras ciencias, el área de la Geografía política también se veía beneficiada por la Sociología y la Sicología, principalmente. Este enriquecimiento se manifestó en continuos cambios conceptuales y metodológicos. El objetivo del presente estudio es el de examinar la esencia que caracteriza esta disciplina y los temas principales de la Geografía política. La primera parte del articulo trata del alcance y definición de la Geografía política. La segunda parte trata de los principales temas que la componen. | es-ES |
