| dc.description | This work was based in the UNESCO- TTS/WGI standard and was carried on with aerial photogrametric technichs and cartography. An inventory was made of 80 glaciers, 8 mountains covered permanently with snow, and one with semipermanent snow. The area is 148,78 km2, and the water volume in solid state is 10,32 km3, which represents a liquid equivalent of 8,63 km3. In this research the physical and geomorphological features of the masses of ice and snow aregiven for an area that is located between 180 and 320 south. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente trabajo está basado en las normas de UNESCO- TTS/WGI, las cuales fueron desarrolladas con apoyo de técnicas aerofotogramétricas y cartográficas. De esta manera, se reconocieron e inventariaron 80 glaciares, 8 nevados y una cubierta semipermanente de nieve, los cuales cubren un área de 148,78 km2, que generan 10,32 km3 de agua sólida y que representan un equivalente liquido de 8,36 km3. En este trabajo se dan las caracterfsticas físicas y morfológicas de las masas de hielo y/o nieve perenne de una zona del país, que se extiende entre los 180 a los 320 de latitud sur. | es-ES |
